Our mission

As part of the research team, I worked on stakeholder development and exploitation strategies, ensuring the project’s findings could be applied across sectors and countries. I also contributed to cross-country comparative analyses using secondary data to understand factors influencing users’ willingness and readiness to adopt the NESTORE e-coach solution.

The analysis explored variables across five core dimensions of well-being:

  • Physical: BMI, physical activity, sports participation.

  • Nutritional: Fruit and vegetable consumption, alcohol intake.

  • Social: Face-to-face and online contact with family and friends, cultural participation.

  • Cognitive: Prevalence of dementia and engagement in stimulating activities.

  • Psychological: Life satisfaction, happiness, perceived health, loneliness, and mental well-being (WHO-5 scale).

By comparing these indicators across European countries, the study identified key social and behavioral patterns that shape how older adults interact with technology for health promotion. This work contributed to the design of strategies that make digital health tools more user-centered, inclusive, and effective in promoting healthy aging.
